We have re-opened to start the new year with great gifts and decorations for Valentine’s Day.  We have packed away the remains of Christmas and have filled the store with the bright and fresh colours of Spring.  Yes, it is cold outside and the snow keeps falling.  All the more reason to drop in and escape into a warm and bright setting. 

Our bridal room should be up and running by January 24.  We are presently resuming wedding consultations for 2013 and a few remaining days in 2012.  We recommend that you call first to check for availability and to book your appointment.

Friday, December 23 is Festivus!  This will be our last day for all Christmas merchandise so everything is on sale. Wear your best puffy shirt and get ready to air your grievences on our Festivus pole for an extra discount.  We will have food, games and a whole lot of fun so please drop in between 10am and 5pm to join us. 

We will be closed from December 24 until January 17.  Have a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year’s Eve.  Thank you for all of your patronage throughout 2011 and we look forward to seeing you soon in 2012.

This is our third year participating in this event.  We have finished transforming our tour home on Dufferin Street into a cozy Christmas retreat.  Thank you to Sheena and Alan Cranston for letting us into their home.  We hope that many of you attend the tour which runs this Saturday evening (Nov. 12) and Sunday 10 -4 (Nov. 13).  Tickets for the day tour are still available at our store as well as at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery.

Our store will be open during tour hours this weekend.

We welcome you to come and visit us at our booth in the annual Wedding Wishes Show at the Valhalla Inn on Sunday, November 6.  The show runs from 11:30am until 4:30pm.  We are located at booth #7 in the Ballroom close to the entrance to the Scandia Room.  Hope to see you there!

Just a reminder that our Bridal room is temporarily closed now for the season and will reopen later in January.  The entire store is presently a Christmas Wonderland.  Please call us with any consultation inquiries during this time.

We are excited to announce that this Saturday, October 22 the store will be open for Christmas.  Our hours for November and December will be Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday 11am -4pm.  Come and visit soon for the best selection.

We would like to extend a special invitation to our family, friends and customers that have supported us year round to visit the store on Friday October 21 between 6pm-8pm for an evening preview prior to our public opening on Saturday.  The cider is on!

The season has changed in our store.  Come in and be greeted by the wonderful scents of spices, pumpkin, cranberry and baked goods.  Autumn foliage, wreaths and home decor pieces are displayed along side of some very fun and unique Halloween items.  This is a short season for us so don’t miss out!  We will celebrate this season only until Thanksgiving Day and as usual, we will then close briefly to set up our spectacular Christmas display.  Watch for our opening announcement.

All summer and garden items are now on sale 30% off the already low prices!  Some items in the store have been reduced to 50% off.  Hurry in before the Labour Day Weekend to take advantage of these low prices.  Fall and Halloween are just around the corner so look for a change of seasons in the second week of September.

We are excited to announce that we now have a new selection of fantastic jewellery in the store thanks to Jewelry Designs by Diane.  Diane Perepeluk is a local artisan who hand crafts each piece herself.  We have a great display of her bracelets, necklaces and earrings.  Diane uses beads, crystals, gem stones, lampwork glass, sterling and fine silver to create one of a kind designs.  If you love jewellery you have got to come and see her work!  Put shopping local on your list this week.
